Notting Hill Carnival is the street party to end all street parties. Known for its music, jerk chicken, flamboyant costumes and street dancing.
I go every year and this was one of the best ever!!! We went both days so here is a mash up of a few pics.

We arrived at Gaz's on Talbot Road and situated ourselves right at the front by the bar/stage. I've read up a little about Gaz Mayall and he has been performing on Talbot road since 1976 and is a massive icon of the festival. I could see why he had great costumes both day and had a great energy about him. His music was pretty great to, a mix of Rocking Blues, Reggae, Latin and Soul.
We were so lucky, the sun was blazing and a very generous man kept on pouring free shots of golden rum into our mouths making us on flying form.
The sun went down the party's carried on.
