Partridges Food Market

Being English I'm totally obsessed with the weather and the weather man had delivered a warm sunny day... FINALLY.

Weekender's were out in force on the kings road. Pottering around doing errands, meeting for coffees or very appropriate chilled glasses of wine and hitting the Partridges Food Market

I was totally excited at the prospect of picking up some interesting goodies to gussle down when I got home. The Market was full of the hussle and bussle that makes a good market great! It's spread over Duke of York Square in a pretty maze of stalls, an array of colour in a clean space, with people perched around it eating there purchases naturally.

Words can not describe how good these tasted.

I found these amazing cakes that were in flower pots, a Genius idea, I had to have one. The baker told me to take it home and warm it up in the oven, and the middle would melt, at £3 how could I say no. So I popped one in my handbag for later. He also made these fantastic dips and filo pasty roulades stuffed with colourful spinach and cabbage YUM.

The mini cupcakes were flying and I defiantly noticed parents making bargains with their children over them, very clever people I think.

The Pie stand represented England to a T for me, I could imagine the gravy bubbling and oozing out of them when they are heated up and then curling up next to a fire and a good movie with a rich glass of red wine.. Oh dreamy.. And the cheeky chaps selling them were a hoot to talk to.

I then had to hit my regular stand a tropical paradise of exotic food. All the colour of the rainbow its a feast for the eyes and just as tasty. This was complemented by the steel drummer who was a great giggle and loved posing for the camera.

By now all my penny's had been spend and my tummy was full from all the great testers I had munched down. I went home laden down with goodies, I'm going to be eating well this week and for a few more to come!

As I strolled back up the Kings Road I noticed that Hobbs had a great window display also totally adorable I couldn't resist a photo.

Who's that doggie in the Window

I walked back home along the river bank, this is why I love london, its so pretty.
