Over the last 24 hours I have been hanging out in one of London's most icon areas, Knightsbridge.
Last night was dinner at Mamounia Lounge complete with a belly dancer, one of my favourite puddings Baklava and gold in my cocktail. Needless to say It was a great night.

Having Gold in my drink was totally extravagant and totally great.
We ate a selection of dips from Labneh(light yoghurt and mint) to Hommus Kawarma(ground chickpea served with pan-fried Lamb and pine nuts) and these were just the side orders. The Sambousek Lamb were amazing (pastry stuffed with lamb, onion and pin nuts.) I totally recommend them.
The restaurants itself was warm with a great buzzy vibe, rich colours and sweet smoky smells.

When the Belly dancer came out we were in high spirits having had wine and cocktails and I couldn't contain my excitement some inappropriate/immature noises may have been made ;-) . If I didn't have two left feet I would have jumped up an joined her, but I didn't want to ruin everyone's entertainment hee hee.

So now we come to my hung over morning cravings and I could only think of one thing, BAKLAVA. I needed some and as soon as possible. Luckily it was a beautiful day so I made a great playlist on my trusty Ipod and headed out to Harrods, I mean where else is there to get the most amazingly freshly made baklava.
