So recently I was super lucky and attended/helped out with the La Perla press day.

I had attended and helped with hats before so this time around I jumped at the opportunity to be involved.

For me La Perla represent the super luxury, reserved for the Blair Waldorf's of the world, my massive girl crush, I felt super lucky to be involved.

The location was in an Italian gallery on Newman street off Oxford street (very appropriate as la Perla is actually an Italian brand with a french name). The crisp white rooms with fantastic artwork offered a strong setting.

Spread over two floors the upstairs was reserved for the main and cruise collection and downstairs for their diffusion line, which was youthful, vibrate with a warm colour palette. The pieces were complement by the beautiful bouquets of flowers in between the models. 

For the main collection the inspiration was drafted from traditional Spanish bullfighting. The collection exuded strength, passion, sophistication and elegance through its expensive silks, sheer fabrics, lace, clever cuts and carefully selected colours. 

This black dress was my so sophisticated and elegant. I want.....

Complete with elegant eats, my fav Macaroons and press packs. I was in heaven and had the best time along with wanting to take every piece home. The guest book was full to burst and the day was a  massive success.

A  big toast to such a success...
